Designing Out Crime Officers (DOCO’s) representing eleven police forces are amongst the latest to undertake the accredited Level 5 Diploma in Crime Prevention – Designing Out Crime, delivered by the Police Crime Prevention Academy.
Secured by Design member company, Martec Engineering Group, has generously sponsored a car to assist Police Scotland’s National Designing Out Crime Manager, Stuart Ward, to undertake his work across the country.
Assistant Commissioner Angela McLaren of the City of London Police has joined the Board of Directors for Police Crime Prevention Initiatives (Police CPI), the police owned organisation that works to deliver a wide range of innovative and ground-breaking crime prevention and demand reduction initiatives to support the wider UK Police Service, Government and the public.

Jayne King ASMS FSyI, Head of Security and Site Services at Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust, is currently undertaking an accredited Level 5 Diploma in Crime Prevention–Designing Out Crime with the Police Crime Prevention Academy.
Police Crime Prevention Initiatives (Police CPI), which works alongside the Police Service around the UK to deter and reduce crime, has signed up to the Women’s Night Safety Charter, which seeks to make the capital a safe place where women feel ‘confident and welcome’ at night.
